I would thoroughly recommend Mr Jan. He's friendly and very easy to talk to. Regarding my procedure: He explained the operation fully to me beforehand, he listened to my concerns and took time to answer all my questions. I was referred to Haider Jan for a second opinion on recommended treatment for adenomyosis - recently diagnosed but a problem for me for some years. I found Mr Jan well prepared having read all of my notes, and excellent both at asking and answering my questions in sufficient detail without either patronising me or over-complicating things. As a result of the consultation I have a clear way forward and am confident that I have received expert advice.

After years and years of frustration with my endometriosis, I have finally met a doctor who not only is knowledgeable, but also has the qualities that doctors should but don't have in most cases: He listens, he explains, he is patient, he is gentle, he is polite, he takes time to ensure you as a patient understand everything... When I first met him I was really impressed, but I must admit I was a bit concerned about him being so young, as I wondered if he would be experienced enough to perform an exceptional laparoscopy (I had had one before with another doctor and I had not noticed any improvements). But now I have no doubt he is a highly skilled surgeon. It had been a while (years) since I found a doctor who actually seemed interested in hearing how I felt, and that he actually felt for me being in so much pain, and also for not being able to have children. I am at the moment under treatment for IVF and if I am lucky enough to fall pregnant, I will be so happy to have him as my gynaecologist during the pregnancy, as he is really one in a million.

I was referred to Mr Jan with symptoms of endometriosis and PCOS. He listened intently to my worries and gave me excellent advice. He had clearly researched my notes in advance and knew about me. He was an expert in these areas and was able to administer the latest treatments. I also had a laparoscopy performed by Dr Jan. He provided me with full details of what would be happening in the procedure. Before the procedure he took time to fully answer any questions that I had and was always very quick with his replies. He even helped me to reorganise the date of the procedure to better suit my schedule. On the day of the procedure he was as always kind and attentive. He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with everything that would happen. The procedure was a great success and there were no complications. I received excellent results from the procedure and the whole process was dealt with in an extremely professional way. Dr Jan is an expert in his field and also a very kind and considerate doctor. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a doctor and a surgeon.
